Rudiantara is an experienced figure, both in the industry and in the bureaucracy, with a professional track record that spans diverse sectors from telecommunications, electricity, cement, to railways. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Statistics from Padjajaran University and an MBA from PPM School of Management. He is particularly renowned in the telecommunications sector, having been serving at Indosat (now Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison), Telkomsel, Excelcomindo (now XL Axiata), and Telkom. Rudiantara was also the Minister of Communication and Information Technology of the Republic of Indonesia from 2014 to 2019 and was later appointed as Deputy President Director of PT PLN Persero.

Rudiantara is currently serving as a member of the Board of Advisors for WIR Group. He is a true believer of the power of technology in driving the economy and the betterment of mankind as a whole. Having been observing WIR Group for some time now, Rudiantara has put faith in WIR Group's preparedness to enter the Web 3.0 era where digital technologies transcend time and distance to realize a better and stronger Indonesia.
